In March we took the difficult decision to temporarily close our construction sites, offices and Visitors Centres. We did this to protect the health and wellbeing of our teams, customers and local communities, and to support the Government’s aim to slow the spread of coronavirus and protect the NHS.
Since then, we have been working hard, behind the scenes, on our plans to resume construction and sales activity in the safest way possible.
Our construction teams have returned to work across our sites in Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Our site management teams have done a brilliant job of implementing new safety and social distancing measures to make this possible and to keep our colleagues, customers and local residents safe.
We continue to monitor access to our sites and carefully manage all visitors, including deliveries, to protect everyone working there as well as the local community.
Visitors Centres and viewings
We are all excited to open our Visitor Centres and show homes again and to welcome prospective buyers back to our sites. To make this a safe experience for everyone, we are welcoming guests one at a time so we recommend booking an appointment before visiting us. Viewings will take place without a member of our team present to limit social contact and make the experience as safe as possible.
We encourage all interested buyers to complete a virtual tour from the comfort of their own home before considering a trip to one of our developments. All our tours use real imagery rather than CGIs and you can still get up close to all of the fixtures and fittings that are included as standard. We can guide you through the tour virtually and answer any questions during, or afterwards. I know it’s a bit new to all of us, so do have a read of this new blog from our Sales & Marketing Director, Denise Stewart, or ask us if you have any queries about how they work.
For full details of the safety precautions in place and a step-by-step guide through how the reservation process will work, take a look at this short film or contact a member of the team.
We will continue to monitor the Government advice and keep you up to date with any changes to our plans. In the meantime, our teams are still available by phone and email, and are more committed than ever to delivering the best for our customers and residents – so please do get in touch if you have questions, big or small.
Finally, I want to say a sincere thank you to all of our colleagues, partners, suppliers and friends, for their hard work, support and kindness during the past couple of months – it has truly been appreciated.
