Following the success of our first development in Berkshire – Buckler’s Park – we are hugely excited to now have launched our new homes at Finchwood Park in Finchampstead. One of The Sunday Times Best Places to Live 2017, the picturesque Berkshire village has something to offer everyone from growing families to downsizers and first time buyers.
We unveiled the properties at our brand new Visitors Centre, where visitors can view interactive displays of the development and picture what their future home will look like.
Set among more than 140 acres of leafy, open space, including a village green, woodland clearings, brooks and a pond, Finchwood Park will offer the best of village life, with all the modern features of a new home. We have a range of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom homes going on sale, meaning people at every stage of their lives have something to choose from.
It’s just three miles from the village of Finchampstead and residents will benefit from a wealth of on-site amenities including a new primary school, shops, children’s play areas and trim trails within the green space.
In fact, all the homes and amenities are designed to encourage healthy living and wellbeing. This includes allotments where residents can grow their own flowers, fruit and vegetables. The homes themselves have been designed with sustainability in mind, and there are no hidden costs, meaning smart technology like Hive thermostats are included as standard.
The first new homes to launch include:
- One- and two- bedroom apartments with spacious open-plan living and kitchens and excellent storage throughout
- Generous two-bedroom homes, offering spacious rooms and on-plot parking or carports
- Five separate designs of three-bedroom homes, each benefiting from bi-fold doors onto rear gardens included as standard
- Two varieties of detached four-bedroom houses, with separate living and kitchen/dining spaces, en-suite master bedrooms, rear gardens and on-site parking
The development is less than five miles away from the historic market town of Wokingham and near to the vibrant hubs of Bracknell and Reading, the latter home to the forthcoming Elizabeth Line (Crossrail).
Regular trains from Wokingham can take commuters to London in less than 45 minutes, making homes at Finchwood Park ideal for those who work in the capital and equally suitable for residents visiting London for a day trip or theatre show.
The area surrounding Finchampstead offers a huge variety of leisure activities, including golf courses, country parks, shops, museums, theme parks including Thorpe Park and Legoland Windsor, racecourses in nearby Ascot and Windsor, and endless options for country walks or cross-country bike rides. Bohunt School, for 11-16 year olds, is less than five minutes away and Wellington College is only a 15-minute drive.
