Your home is one of the places where you make some of your most treasured memories. Yet buying a house can be a lengthy, confusing and sometimes, even a boring experience regardless of whether you’re a first-time buyer, downsizer or looking for more space to accommodate a growing family. It’s a process that tends to be full of jargon and unfamiliar steps that can leave you feeling out of your depth or, worse still, tearing your hair out.

At Legal & General Homes, we’ve decided to do things differently.  We want to help you to break through the complexity and minimise the stress so that you can focus on the more fun and exciting aspects of purchasing your new home.

Customer service is embedded in the way we operate, from the minute you step through the door of our Visitor Centre and it doesn’t stop when you get your keys. We want you to feel at home as soon as possible, which is why we assist with some of the little things that help you settle in, like providing a handyman service to help hang pictures or put up curtain rails after you’ve moved in so you get things just the way you want them.

We are committed to keeping in touch with you every step of the way in a manner and at a time that suits you. You can be as specific as you want when you share your contact details with us – we’ll never contact you when it’s not convenient.

Transparency and trust are integral to the way that we operate and we’re taking a no-nonsense approach to selling our homes. This means there are no hidden costs with us – the latest energy efficient appliances and a choice of all fixtures and fittings are included as standard, with no surprises. We’ll also give you a straightforward and honest breakdown of the expected costs of running your new home so you know exactly where you stand.

We know that buying a new build property might feel like a leap of faith when all you can see is a construction site, and it can be hard to imagine how that will become your home. We want to make sure you feel connected throughout its construction, making that wait to move in a little less agonising. We’ll keep you up to date with photos and videos on your home’s progress and you’ll even be given the opportunity to meet your builder over breakfast to chat through the build.

While we can’t promise to completely take away all of the more tedious parts of buying a home, we’ll be there with you throughout the whole process to give you peace of mind and help to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
