Survey

The Didcot Community Charter

Join the conversation

Your responses will help to prioritise needs in your community so we can develop a Community Charter for Didcot. This platform will allow you and your fellow community members to track and measure activities and interventions that can address Didcot’s greatest needs. The platform will also include a Community Wishlist where locals, businesses and other stakeholders can share their needs and also contribute to interventions for years to come.

We estimate this survey should only take you about 10 minutes, and the link will be live until Sunday, January 19th 2020.

Why do we want to hear from you?

We believe everyone has a part to play in making Didcot the best place possible to live, learn and work and that everyone should do what they can in support of this goal. The purpose of this process is to identify the needs of the community and start prioritising specific opportunities to address those needs. Ultimately, we want to make sure that any support or resource that is directed to the Didcot community meets local needs as much as possible.

The Social Value Portal produced the first Community Charter and Wishlist in the UK for the Crowthorne Community. It was driven by the Crowthorne Parish Council, sponsored and supported by Legal & General Homes, and designed and facilitated by the Social Value Portal. The Social Value Portal has once again been appointed by Legal and General Homes to create a Community Charter for Didcot as part of their work at Willington Down.
