Shrivenham

Overview

Welcome to the consultation page for our proposals to redevelop the land east of Highworth Road, Shrivenham bordered by the A420 and Pennyhooks Lane.

The proposals for the land east of Highworth Road, Shrivenham will aim to meet the growing demand for housing by providing 515 much-needed high quality homes, including affordable homes. In addition to the new homes, the plans provide numerous community benefits such as:

  • Land for a Primary School
  • A new road junction to improve traffic flow on the A420
  • Public open space
  • A convenience store

In 2017, the site was granted Outline Planning Permission for 515 new homes to be introduced in two phases. Legal & General Homes are now pleased to show you our plans for the design and development of the first phase of our proposals, introducing the first 240 homes on site. Please click on the ‘Events’ tab for details about our public exhibition event held on Tuesday 20th February.

We thank those who completed our online feedback form. All the responses we received are taken into consideration within the development of our design proposals and will help inform our discussions with stakeholders and Vale of White Horse Council.
