Opportunities for local charities to benefit from our grant scheme

August 20, 2019

Are you a local charity based near one of our developments in Crowthorne, Finchampstead or Shrivenham? Are you looking for extra funding? Or do you know a charity who does?

We’d like to encourage you to apply to be part of our quarterly grant scheme, where our visitors can vote for one of three local charities to be awarded a share of £2,000 on a quarterly basis.  The charity with the most votes will receive £1,000, the second will be awarded £600 with the third receiving £400.

We have already awarded £8,000 to 12 charities through votes placed at Buckler’s Park in Crowthorne, with the funding going towards brilliant local initiatives including befriending programmes for older people, upgrades to a local branch of the Royal British Legion and to a local children’s hospice.

The scheme is open to registered charities that work in the local area of our developments and anyone wanting to apply can do so here where you can also nominate charitable organisations to be put forward.

To ensure we are able to help as many local causes as possible, charities are eligible to apply once every 12 months. All our charities have been chosen for our last quarter starting in October, but we’re taking applications for next year.

We’ve already seen this scheme make a real difference to charities and look forward to seeing your nominations.
